Terms and Conditions

Policies and Procedures

  • Classes are reserved and paid for in advance through our online Walla booking system. All reservations must be confirmed.

  • Life can get hectic, we get it! We request that any cancellation be made at least ten hours prior to class (the “cancellation window”) to ensure that the class goes back onto your account for use at a later date. If you do not cancel before the cancellation window closes, you will be considered a late cancel and you will lose your class or incur a fee.

  • Coaches are subject to change and classes are subject to cancellation without notice. When possible, an email or text message will be sent in the event that there is a change in the schedule. Subject to any opt-out you elect, you consent to receiving notices from us pertaining to class.

  • In the event a class is full, try the waitlist — it works! When a spot becomes available before the cancellation window closes, an email confirmation will be sent to let you know. Don’t forget, it is your responsibility to cancel your reservation if you can no longer make it to avoid cancellation penalties. Outside of the cancellation window, keep an eye on the schedule. We will not be able to automatically add you to the class, so grab that spot!

  • Safety is crucial, and therefore our trained coaches provide corrective touches during classes to ensure that clients are safe and maintain correct form.

  • While we love our community’s young and furry ones, unattended children and pets are not permitted in the studio.

  • Hygiene is appreciated — clients are responsible for wearing grip socks while on the machine and responsible for wiping down their machine after class.

  • Subject to certain restrictions, all sales are final. Classes are not eligible for transfer or exchange, and cannot be shared amongst clients.

  • Subject to any regulations, a valid debit or credit card must be on file for all active accounts. Should you wish to make a purchase with cash or other means of payment, please email your local studio manager to arrange.

  • Subject to any regulations, all credit card charges are subject to a three percent (3%) processing fee. To update your card on file to a debit card, please email your local studio.

  • Method Room is not responsible for any bank overdraft fees that may occur.

  • In order to enhance our clients’ safety and experience, we may take video surveillance in our studios.

Waiver of Liability

If you have any physical injuries and/or medical conditions that may affect your ability to safely and properly participate in Method Room classes, please consult your doctor prior to working out. You are advised not to undertake strenuous physical activity without first seeking medical advice if you have concerns over your physical condition and well being. If you have low/high blood pressure and/or cardiac irregularities you should not attend class. If there is any doubt, you should consult your doctor.

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions Members hereby confirm that they have no problems  (including without limitation cardiac irregularities; spinal, bone, joint, tendon or ligament injuries; spells of dizziness; asthma (or other breathing difficulty); diabetes, epilepsy or any allergy) which may affect their participation in any sessions at the Studio.

It is your responsibility to notify Method Room before attending any session of any circumstances affecting your health which may be exacerbated through continued use of Method Room and/or which may have arisen or worsening since your last session at the Method Room.

In exchange for permission to participate in Method Room classes and/or private sessions, you hereby enter into the following release and waiver of liability, assumption of risk and indemnity agreement. You, your heirs, spouse, executors, administrators, personal representatives and assignees, waive, release, discharge, defend, indemnify, hold harmless and agree not to sue Method Room, its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, contractors, agents, landlords, lessees, sponsors, representatives, volunteers, and affiliates ("Released Parties") from, any and all liability, responsibility, damages, losses, claims, demands, actions, suits, judgments, costs and expenses (including attorneys' fees) resulting from personal injury, accidents, illnesses, death and/or property loss caused in any manner, including theft, fire and the simple, active or passive negligence of the Released Parties, by your participation in Method Room classes. You hereby understand that you are advised to move comfortably through the exercises and to work at your individual level of difficulty.

You acknowledge that you have been advised to consult with your physician with respect to any past, present or future injury, illness, cardiovascular problem, knee problem, back problem, neck problem, osteoporosis, or any other condition that may affect your participation and ability to participate in and to endure the exercise programs, and knowingly assume all risks relating to your participation at Method Room.

You acknowledge that you have discussed with your physician the appropriateness of the classes offered by Method Room in connection with any illness or condition that you now have or have previously had and that you knowingly execute this Agreement freely and voluntarily, and intend by your signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law. You are required to follow the instructions of the instructor at all times.

Limitation of Liability

Method Room cannot be held responsible for any particular session, instructor and/or item of reformer equipment not being available for whatever reason. Method Room reserves the right to make alterations to the sessions, instructors and/or equipment, as well as to those ancillary facilities, provided to you, without notice and in its absolute discretion and Method Room will not be liable for any loss occasioned by such alterations except insofar as such loss is by law incapable of exclusion.

You are responsible for ensuring that you are capable of undergoing a routine of exercises provided by any program which you follow or class which you attend. You accept the risk of injury from performing exercises and using specialist equipment and are advised to consult your doctor prior to beginning any session. Advice provided by our instructors at no time constitutes medical advice in substitute for advice provided by a medical professional.

Method Room accepts no liability for loss or damage to property that belongs to you or for injury to you on Method Room premises or outside Method Room except insofar as such loss, damage or injury is by law incapable of exclusion.

In consideration of their participation in the activities and programs of Method Room and the use of facilities and equipment owned and/or under the control of Method Room you hereby waive and release Method Room from any and all responsibility or liability for injuries, damages, or death resulting from their participation in any of Method Room’s activities or use of Method room’s equipment or facilities (including loss of a baby during pregnancy).

Reservation Information

In order to participate in Method Room classes, you must reserve your spot in advance by creating an account online and registering for class.
If a class is full, we recommend putting yourself on the waitlist. If a spot opens up prior to 10 hours before class starts, you will automatically be added to the class. By putting yourself on the waitlist, you acknowledge that you will be able to take the class if you get in. If you do not want a spot in the class, you need to remove yourself from the class/waitlist 10 hours in advance of the class start time. If you are added to the class from the waitlist, fail to remove yourself, and do not attend, it will be a late cancellation, and you are subject to losing the class or the late cancellation fee (late cancellation fee only applies to unlimited members). If you do not get off the waitlist, the class will be credited to your account for future use.
Due to a limited number of spaces available, you can change or cancel your class up to 10 hours before the class starts. Please note we do not give refunds; your class will go back in your account for you to use another time. If you cancel within 10 hours before class starts, you will lose the class. We cannot give refunds or credits for any classes that you miss. If you have an unlimited package and you late cancel or no-show for class, it will result in a $30 no show/late cancellation fee billed to the credit card on file and is non-refundable. If member does not arrive at the start of the scheduled class time, you forfeit their reservation and spot in class. If you used a credit to book in, you will forfeit their credit. If you are on an unlimited plan, you will be charged a non-refundable late fee of $30. All monthly members and auto renew members are required to keep an active card on file.

Membership

Subject to these terms and conditions, when you complete the online registration you will become a Member of the Studio. Acceptance of a person as a Member is in the absolute discretion of Method Room.

Method Room reserves the right to expel from the Studio, suspend for a specific period or refuse to renew the membership of any Member whose conduct is or may, in the Method Room’s reasonable opinion, be injurious to the character of the Studio or which amounts to a breach of the Terms and Conditions or where such expulsion is otherwise in the interests of the other Members of the Studio. Any Member so expelled will forthwith cease to be a Member of the Studio and will not be entitled to any refund for any period during which his membership is suspended.

If a Member brings a guest to the Studio for a session that guest must before the commencement of the relevant session become a Member in accordance with and subject to the Terms and Conditions. Members must be eighteen (18) or over .

Membership Terms

Membership Reoccurring Billing and Termination

This Agreement applies to the following memberships (each a "Membership" and collectively, the "Memberships"). Depending on your Membership, you may have different rights governing your term and termination.

Memberships are billed monthly, and have a minimum of two- or three- months commitment, depending on the Membership you select. Following the commitment term, the membership will automatically renew on a month-to-month basis at the then current monthly rate. Committed Memberships are ineligible for cancelation prior to the term expiration without penalty, subject to any applicable Consumer Right to Cancelation, which is applicable to the initial date of purchase. Any requested cancelation prior to the term expiration will require a notice of at least 30 days in advance of the monthly billing date, and must be accompanied by an early termination fee which is equivalent to one month of your membership rate. Cancelation must be requested at least 30 days in advance of the auto-renewal date. Cancellations can be requested by completing a request form online at www.themethodroom.com 30 days prior to your auto-renewal date. Failure to timely cancel will result in auto-renewal. You must be on an active, unfrozen membership to request a termination. Terminations can be requested by completing a request form online at www.themethodroom.com. If you are currently on a Committed Membership and wish to upgrade or downgrade your membership, your commitment term will restart effective as of the transfer date. Transfers can be requested by contacting Method Room’s client experience team at info@themethodroom.com.

Class Packages refers to any purchase of a pre-determined allotment of classes to be redeemed at  Method Room in a given time frame. Unless otherwise specified, Class Packages are not subject to auto renewal. Classes purchased as part of a Class Package must be redeemed prior to the expiration date which accompanies the Class Package. No refunds will be given for expired and unredeemed classes.

Outside of the Committed Membership term, all memberships are subject to pricing changes, which will be reasonably communicated to you in advance of any pricing change.

Membership Pause

Method Room members may receive a complimentary two-week pause once per calendar year by completing a request form online at www.themethodroom.com at least 30 days in advance of the requested pause.

Membership Classes and Booking Restrictions

Any unused classes from 4-, 8-, or 12- memberships within the respective 30-day period will expire, and will not roll over to the next month. Classes from Class Packages will expire on a specified date after purchase and will not be redeemable after that date.

Unlimited memberships will be permitted to pre-book up to one class per day.
